My passion with photography began in the 5th grade when our principal set up a darkroom under the stairs of our four room school house in the country. My career did not develop in this area, but instead was an avocation. I've known many professionals over the years, taken classes, many seminars, and studied the compositions and techniques of many successful professional photographers. This website is a compilation of my photos taken for many years throughout the western states, and 'having a go' at the profession of photography. Hopefully you will see and feel the beauty of the places and hopefully I will have been successful in conveying that sense to you.
